Options - Index

Data on reports can appear in any order or sequence required. There are two methods of sorting information:

• OPTIONS | INDEX - you can select an index from a list of all the indexes for the base relation
• OPTIONS | SORT - you can add an entry into the sort table.

To select an index by which to sort your report:

1. Create a new report or load an existing one.

Refer to "Creating a New Report", "Using the Report Wizard" or "Loading an Existing Report".

Micronet displays the Report Generator screen.

2. Select OPTIONS | INDEX.

Micronet displays the Select Index screen.

3. Select the index you want to use to sort your report.

4. Select the Ok button.

Micronet redisplays the Report Generator screen.
